Shift : 6 : 45 PM - 7 : 15 AM

Experience :

• 12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required from any number of months.
• 3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements :

65 miles from facility to be submitted.

Additional Details :

All staff may be required to work during a hurricane with all necessary safety precautions in place. Please only submit if you are willing to provide care during hurricane season.

No block scheduling allowed.

Always potential for med-surg overflow (ex : GI bleed, sepsis, CVA, COVID +)

Pre / post cath lab, PPM / AICD, ablations, vascular surgeries (CEAs, fem-pops), Titration of drips (ex : Cardizem, Amiodarone, Dobutamine, Nitroglycerin, Dopamine, heparin); Sheath pulling at bedside

Unable to guarantee any specific scheduling requests (ex : block scheduling)

No call in

RTO must be on profile and brought up in the interview or there is a high chance offer’s will be rescinded.

Orientation held 5 days a week

Resources who worked as permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must be separated from Ochsner Health System for 1 full year before they can return as travel.

2 references from last 12 months (Manager / Supervisor reference type) - required after submission
