Commonpoint provides a continuum of social, recreational, and educational services for children, families and adults. For over two generations, Commonpoint, with three main locations in Little Neck and Forest Hills, Queens, as well as in the Bronx, has been a special place for thousands of families, older adults, children and individuals who participate in its parenting, preschool, after-school, cultural arts, camping, health and fitness, social services, and senior programming.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB :

• Advise the Coordinator on program development and implementation.
• Ensure proper implementation of program by team.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with staff, youth, parents, and school.
• Implementation of program activities and scheduling.
• Supporting the Coordinator in completion of evaluation reports on a timely basis.
• Maintain professional files on all staff for Department of Health review.
• Order, manage and keep track of all program supplies and food / snack deliveries.
• Keep organized computer records of all finances, registrations and program related information.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development trainings.
• Superior leadership and management skills and the ability to motivate and support members of a team.
