job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide input to develop, and / or optimize manufacturing processes for generator rotors and stators to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Conduct time and motion studies to identify areas for process improvement and implement lean manufacturing principles. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of new processes and technologies. Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement. Compile and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and process flow diagrams. Perform SAP transactions and work with the financial organization to provide updates to costing data for the transfer price round Jul & Apr. Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies in all manufacturing activities. Provide technical support and training to production staff to enhance their skills and knowledge. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the production of generator rotors and stators or similar components. Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and process optimization techniques. Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings & BOMs Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Min. 2-3 yrs. Experience in Manufacturing & shop floor Excellent written and verbal communications. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to be flexible and adapt to a changing work environment. Excellent troubleshooting skills.
