The Executive Assistant (EA) will be responsible for handling confidential information and maintaining professionalism in dealing with senior executives across the company. Key job responsibilities include managing an active and fluid calendar; planning detailed domestic and international travel; managing expense report coordination and submission; organizing, executing, and assisting with team activities; serving as the "gatekeeper" to the executive office; communicating on behalf of the senior executive directly with the leadership team and other stakeholders; helping to develop and maintain new organizational mechanisms; and training other administrative staff on company policies and best practices.
A day in the life of this role requires attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, great organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple critical requests. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior leaders and engineers inside the company is important, as is a good sense of humor. The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with minimal guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action with ambiguity and show grace under pressure.
