Patient Safety Specialist - West Valley (On-Site)

Description

As the Patient Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for helping us achieve our goal of becoming a transformative, high-reliability organization with an uncompromising focus on patient safety and outcomes. You will do this by facilitating patient safety and quality improvement initiatives and coordinating the implementation of practices designed to reduce error and improve patient outcomes. This will involve fostering a non-punitive culture of continuous learning and improvement by reviewing safety events, identifying trends in near-miss and actual events, and using Lean methodologies to identify relevant trends. You will :

• Review daily incident reports
• Encourage reporting of actual and near miss events
• Serve as an educational resource for all departments on issues of patient safety andconduct trainings
• Conduct root cause analysesandmonitor actions through completion
• Facilitate Failure Mode Effects Analysis Teams
• Supportpatient safety recognitions programs
• Review, analyze, and interpret data
• Prepare complex reports and presentations

Salary Range : $86,400 - $184,800 / annually Qualifications
