Parallel Employment is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our team. The Receiving Clerk will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring that all incoming shipments are properly received and accounted for. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, ensuring that they match purchase orders.
- Document and report any discrepancies or damages in shipments.
- Accurately enter received items into the inventory management system.
- Organize and store received products in designated areas.
- Communicate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve any shipment-related issues.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized receiving area.
- Assist with inventory audits and stock management as needed.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.Prior experience in receiving, warehousing, or inventory management preferred.Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory software.Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs).Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Effective time management and organizational abilities.Benefits
