As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol DoD Cleared in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero / Defense, and more.

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment at a leading aerospace and defense location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help prevent incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This position requires both armed and driving responsibilities, offering you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working alongside a team that values integrity, innovation, and putting people first.

Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $25.15 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Thur 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Sun 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or security-related incidents.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas within the location.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and local authorities as needed during emergencies or incidents.
  • Remain alert and prepared to respond to any security-related threats or emergencies specific to the aerospace and defense environment.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
