Job summary
The Human Resources assistant assists with the administration of the day to day operations of the human resources and payroll department functions and duties. The HR assistant carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following areas, departmental development, employee relations, compensation, benefits, employment, HRIS and payroll.
The Human Resources assistant will be responsible for data entry in the payroll system for multiple locations.
The HR assistant must maintain employee confidence and protect operations by keeping all information strictly confidential.
The HR assistant must have experience using ADP, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Education
A high school diploma or equivalent is required and two years of related experience preferred.
Work Environment
The job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copier, fax machine and file cabinets.
