Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Cath Lab Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Position : Cath Lab / IR Tech (with EP lab floating) Shift : 5x8s, Days (7 : 00 AM – 3 : 30 PM), self-scheduling Contract Length : 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours : 40 / week Location : Level 3 Trauma Center Unit Details Unit : Cath Lab & Interventional Radiology (with EP lab float required) Suites / Labs : 3 total Daily Cases : 8–12 Common Procedures : IR : venous placement, port-a-cath, fistula, biliary / neph tubes, IVC filter Cath Lab : L & R heart caths, STEMIs, ICDs, pacemakers, carotids, peripherals EP Lab : Ablations, devices (experience preferred) Call / Weekend / Holiday Requirements Call (RN & Techs) : Weekday : 3 : 30 PM – 7 AM (as needed, 30-min response time, call team = 1 RN 2 Techs) Weekends : every other weekend, Friday 3 : 30 PM – Monday 7 AM Holidays : call required if working holidays Supervisor : On call after hours Team & Support Charge Nurse : Yes Techs : Dedicated Cath Lab / IR Techs in unit Cardiologist : On call after hours RT 24 / 7 : Yes Pharmacy 24 / 7 : Yes IV Team : No Requirements Certifications : ARRT or RCIS accepted, ACLS, BLS, Fluoro Experience : Minimum 2 years Cath Lab / IR, travel experience preferred, EP lab experience preferred Charting System : Cerner (Philips monitoring) Scrubs : Provided Job ID 17094030. . . . . . . . / .
