Our client is a major international bank offering global corporate and investment banking services.

Job Description

Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support strategic decision-making. Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial operations and improve efficiency. Support audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries. Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting function.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Accountant should have :

• Experience within the financial services industry (ideally from banking).
• Experience with derivatives products- strong PLUS!
• CPA a PLUS!
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and other relevant accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
