Security Officer - Front Desk Patrol

As a Security Officer - Front Desk Patrol in Mount Pleasant, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and tenants, providing a welcoming presence while assisting with access control and responding to inquiries. Your role will involve monitoring entry points, maintaining detailed logs, and delivering outstanding customer service to everyone who enters the building. By remaining visible and attentive, you help to deter security-related incidents and contribute to a positive environment. Pay Rate : $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Mon 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Tue 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Fri 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Sat 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Sun 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Monitor access control at the front desk, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and visitor logs as required by the location.
  • Communicate professionally with building management, tenants, and Allied Universal team members regarding security-related matters.
  • Assist with emergency response activities at the front desk when appropriate, following company and site-specific guidelines.
  • Help to deter unauthorized entry and / or suspicious activity by maintaining a visible presence at the front desk.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
