HD Trailer Sales Manager

GATR Truck Center is seeking to hire a full-time Trailer Sales Manager to lead all 5 of our locations, primarily focused on our Iowa locations. PRIMARY DUTIES WILL CONSIST OF BUT NOT LIMITED TO :

• Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of heavy-duty truck sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination between sales, marketing, and customer service.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
• Conduct regular market analysis to understand customer needs and preferences, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, dealers, and industry stakeholders.
• Work closely with the customer service team to address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly.
• Provide ongoing training, coaching, and development opportunities for the sales team to enhance their skills and product knowledge.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the sales department.
• Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and measure the effectiveness of sales initiatives.
• Regularly review sales performance data and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
• Sell 200+ new and used trailers at assigned profit margins per year
• Above average sales skills
• Average or better knowledge of Heavy-Duty Trucks and trailers
• Travel to all locations required on a consistent basis
• Adherence to GATR Policies and Procedures, Safety Guidelines, Environmental Regulations, Equipment Rules, and other applicable regulations.
