CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for a Business Process Engineer within our Intel sector advancing the national security mission through cutting edge technology. You must have a passion for keeping pace with rapidly evolving technology advancements and leveraging your knowledge on a highly collaborative team to deliver state-of-the-art capabilities. This position is located in our Arlington, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Responsibilities
- Process Analysis and Design : Evaluating current workflows, identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and designing new or improved processes using techniques like Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN).
- Data Analysis and Measurement : Utilizing data to assess process effectiveness, track performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
- Implementation and Optimization : Implementing process changes, developing documentation, and ensuring processes are aligned with business objectives.
- Stakeholder Collaboration : Working with various teams (e.g., operations, IT, management) to gather requirements, communicate changes, and ensure successful implementation.
- Continuous Improvement : Driving ongoing process enhancements, identifying opportunities for automation, and ensuring processes adhere to best practices and compliance standards.
- Training and Support : Developing training materials and conducting workshops to educate stakeholders on new and improved processes.
Required Qualifications
Experience : Minimum 8 years of experience related to the labor category, with at least a portion in the last 2 years.Education : Master's degree in a related field; or Bachelor's degree with an additional 2 years of related senior experience, total 10 years, as a substitute for the Master's degree.Security Clearance : Ability to obtain and maintain an active TS / SCI with Poly; active TS / SCI with Poly highly desired.IT change management experience : 3 years.Operating Systems : Knowledge of Windows and / or Linux server administration.Networking : Understanding of network protocols, configurations, and troubleshooting.Scripting : Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.CI / CD Tools : Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and related tools.Database Management : SQL Server, MySQL, or other databases.Cloud Technologies : AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Team Leadership : Ability to work independently and as part of a team; may supervise others.Analytical and Process Improvement : Strong analytical skills; experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile methodologies.Compensation
