  • TEKsystems is seeking a highly skilled and experienced
  • Patient Service Coordinator (PSC)
  • to join a dynamic healthcare team in Columbia, MD. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front desk operations within a medical setting and be proficient in using EMR systems, particularly Epic.
  • Key Responsibilities :
  • Patient Registration & Scheduling :
  • Accurately register patients and manage appointment scheduling.
  • Insurance Verification :
  • Confirm patient insurance coverage and coordinate services accordingly.
  • Charge Entry & Reconciliation :
  • Perform charge entry and ensure accurate reconciliation of billing.
  • Payment Handling :
  • Collect co-payments and manage daily cash receipts.
  • Referral Management :
  • Process and track patient referrals efficiently.
  • Front Office Support :
  • Provide coverage and assistance for front desk operations, ensuring smooth patient flow.
  • Required Skills :
  • Proficiency in
  • Epic
  • and other EMR / EHR systems.
  • Strong

  • Qualifications :
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • (State Qualified).
  • 1-2 years of medical office experience
  • , preferably in a front desk role.
  • Prior experience with
  • EMR systems
  • (Epic strongly preferred).
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience
  • ; receptionist experience is a plus.
  • Pay and Benefits

    • The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $20.00 / hr.
