Overview
The Event Producer provides customer-centric event production services and overall event support at the highest level possible for the IT Services Event Productions team and its customers. Successful team members will be able to step seamlessly into a corporate events environment, have strong organizational skills, the ability to work across multiple teams and cultures, demonstrate impeccable customer service, and be energetically driven to meet the needs of customers and the team.
Responsibilities
Supports Producer team and customers, dailyCoordinates meetings effectively; provides supporting documentation and aligns stakeholdersMaintains multiple meetings operations calendars and databasesImproves efficiencies, and works to optimize standard processesCoordinates and improves project-related data and reportingWorks on defined projects, with straightforward goalsAble to identify blockers, troubleshoot effectively, and facilitate progressSeeks opportunities to help others improve skillsets and knowledge baseSupports producer operations at new event venues and locationsPre-event
Assists and leads customer planning meetings and walk-throughsEvent script preparation and distribution to production engineersCoordinates vendor estimates and labor costsCoordinates technical resource scheduling for equipment and laborCoordinates any necessary technical testing or technical rehearsalsAble to support media playback and presentation methodsClearly communicates with all team members and stakeholdersCoordinates personal travel arrangements, schedules, and expensesEvent execution
Dedicated onsite support for assigned customersCoordination of technical services for assigned events and relevant facility operationsOptimizes audio, video, lighting and staging for the best quality attainableSupports greater Producer team with occasional show calling and onsite operationsDynamically flex to customer needs and adapt to complicationsPost-event
Supports proper strike of event venueAssists with post-event reportingAssists with any post-event customer needsCoordinates any post-event expendituresBasic qualifications
2+ years of program or project management experience2+ years in event or production coordinationFamiliarity with run-of-show documentationAbility to learn how to call a showProficiency with livestreaming, audio, video, lighting, and staging systems.Scheduling and calendaring managementFamiliar with event billing processesPreferred qualifications
