Sales Director – Renewable Energy Sector

Overview

A Global Software / Services company utilizing drone technology to provide Data / Analytic solutions is recruiting a Sales Director for their National Energy vertical. This is a hunting sales role. The ideal candidate will have experience selling complex solutions and services to the Renewable Energy sectors, specifically Wind and / or Solar Farms. Some experience in drone technology and data analytics knowledge is required. This is an international position targeting large-scale wind and solar farms in North America and Europe.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the sales cycle, from qualification to closing
• Identify and pursue new opportunities
• Develop / implement go-to-market strategies
• Lead the proposal process
• Articulate the company’s specific technical and commercial solutions
• Uncover customer pain points and potential optimization opportunities
• Plan and deliver hands-on product demonstrations, including flying drones!
• Inform the product management and technical teams on market requirements
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure all deliverables meet customer needs
