Job Summary and Responsibilities

Position Summary :

Assists Emergency Department Nurses and Physicians in delivering high quality patient centered care, and maintains supplies and equipment in the Emergency department. This position also functions as a unit coordinator providing clerical support.

Job Requirements

Required :

One year previous direct patient care in an emergency department, ambulance, fire or emergent pre-hospital setting required.

Current BLS certification required.

Current EMT-B or EMT-P license (effective January 1, 2021 for all hires / transfers) required.

Basic knowledge of medical terminology required.

Preferred :

• EKG experience preferred.

Pay Range

$39.28 - $44.49 / hour
