Established Agriculture equipment dealer is looking for a Service Manager to oversee their Service Department at a local store. The dealership is well-respected and this position will be responsible for turning out high-quality service in a timely manner while ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction. Previous management experience is preferred as this position is overseeing multiple employees in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

• Develops, communicates, enforces and monitors effective Service Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction
• Assists in developing, and executes, Service Department marketing plan and monitors monthly to ensure achievement of departmental goals
• Monitors all service warranty and Product Improvement Program expiration dates to keep within within the required timeframe to receive maximum credit
• Schedules and assigns jobs and work areas to employees in the Service Department according to their skills and knowledge
• Reviews work orders for completeness and accuracy prior to customer billing : closes work orders in a timely fashion
• Ensures all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order
• Manages recruiting, staffing and employee development activities for employees reporting to this position
• Attracts, retains, and effectively engages department personnel.
• Attends to, and resolves, employee and inter-departmental issues in a fair and expedient manner
• Performs other duties as assigned
