Security Guard Unarmed Logistics Patrol

As a Security Guard Unarmed Logistics Patrol in Richmond, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic logistics and distribution location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols, interact with staff and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by staying alert and communicating clearly, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Pay Rate : $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Mon 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Thur 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Fri 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sat 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sun 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unusual occurrences within the location.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, visitors, and staff to provide assistance and maintain a welcoming environment.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding daily activities, incidents, and any security-related matters encountered during patrols.
  • Follow all Allied Universal policies and procedures, as well as site-specific guidelines, to maintain a secure environment for personnel and property.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
