Compliance Manager For Stop Loss Insurance Product

Leads and manages various aspects of compliance management for the stop loss insurance product within the US Group segment. Responsible for appropriate implementation of the Compliance Framework, consistent with global compliance standards and applicable regulatory guidelines. Develops, supports, and monitors compliance policies, procedures, processes, and controls.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining all aspects of the agent / agency appointment, vetting, and licensing compliance program.
- Responsible for maintaining policy forms in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Will assist with policy form and rate filings for product changes.
- Assists with tracking and response to any customer complaints.
- Prepares and files informational reports as required by State Insurance Departments.
- Tracks changes in insurance laws and regulations and provide updates to internal stakeholders including Global Legal and Risk Management.
- Provides oversight and monitoring of issues identified during compliance risk assessments, other control function reviews, and / or regulatory interactions.
- Works with senior management to create a compliance-aware culture.
- Supports implementation of Enterprise compliance projects and initiatives including compliance risk assessments and compliance training.
- Performs special projects and other ad-hoc assignments in support of US Group compliance efforts.
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance
- Bachelor's Degree in Arts / Sciences (BA / BS) or equivalent experience required
- Professional qualification in a related field preferred
- Prior experience as a compliance analyst for stop loss insurance. Detailed knowledge of stop loss insurance required
- Experience with Sircon Producer Central software and utilizing SERFF for policy filings. required
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise risk management or related risk fields with responsibilities for management required
- Experience with other accident and health products. preferred
- Identifies and resolves technical, operational and organizational problems. required
- Guides, influences and persuades others either internally in other areas or externally with customers or agencies. required
- Ability to make timely and effective decisions. required
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and decision-making skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills. required
- Project management skills. Demonstrates ability to evaluate project objectives and scope feasibility, gain understanding, schedule resources, and manage budget to plan. required
- Maintain strong working knowledge of all relevant regulations and apply that knowledge to evaluating business controls. required

Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan.
