Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Physicist to join our expanding East Texas Physics team serving Longview, Tyler, and Palestine regions. You will collaborate with a professional team of physicists and dosimetrists, working in a technologically advanced environment to deliver precise and safe radiation therapy services.

Key Responsibilities
Provide full on-site clinical medical physics support for your primary clinic.
Ensure accurate calibration, operation, and quality assurance for all radiation therapy equipment.
Support and supervise dosimetry and treatment planning, including SBRT, SRS, HDR, LDR, and radiopharmaceuticals.
Conduct patient-specific QA, safety checks, and regulatory compliance audits.
Collaborate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and therapists to optimize treatment delivery.
Maintain and ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols .
Participate in continuous improvement and technology upgrade initiatives.
Technology & Equipment
Linear Accelerators : 7 Varian Linacs (2 TrueBeam, 1 Halcyon, 4 2100 C-Series)
HDR Programs : 2 active HDR units (Nucletron afterloaders)
Systems Used : Eclipse, BrainLab, VariSeed, Oncentra, Aria, Radformation, and RadCalc
Programs : SBRT, SRS, HDR, LDR, Radiopharmaceuticals
Qualifications
Required :
Master’s or PhD in Medical Physics from a CAMPEP-accredited program
Graduate of a CAMPEP-accredited residency program
ABR board certification (or in process of obtaining certification)
Eligibility for Texas state licensure
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Preferred :
Working knowledge of Varian Linear Accelerators and Varian VariSource / Bravos HDR
Experience with Eclipse , Brachyvision , and MOSAIQ systems
Familiarity with HDR, SBRT, SRS procedures , and radiation safety
