Express Employment Professionals Cincinnati East is now hiring to fulfill a Brake Press Operator opening for a manufacturing firm in Batavia, OH.

Core Functions :

  • Set up and operation : This involves adjusting machine settings, changing tooling, and performing test runs to ensure accuracy.
  • Blueprint interpretation : Understanding technical drawings and specifications to determine the correct bending process.
  • CNC programming : Inputting instructions into the machine to control bending angles, depths, and other parameters.
  • Quality control : Inspecting finished parts for accuracy and making adjustments as needed.
  • Maintenance : Performing routine checks and maintenance on the press brake machine.
  • Safety : Following all safety procedures and wearing necessary protective gear.

Skills and Qualifications :

  • Blueprint reading : Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings.
  • CNC programming : Knowledge of CNC machine operation and programming.
  • Mechanical aptitude : Understanding the mechanics of press brake machines.
  • Math skills : Performing measurements and calculations for bending operations.
  • Attention to detail : Ensuring accuracy in bending and measurements.
  • Safety awareness : Prioritizing safety in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience : Prior experience with press brake operation, especially CNC machines, is required.
  • Physical fitness : Ability to perform repetitive tasks and handle sheet metal.
