Crouch Staffing Solutions, Inc. is Now Hiring : Extruder Machine Operator

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 6 : 00 AM to 2 : 30 PM

Position Overview :

Crouch Staffing Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Extruder Machine Operator to support operations at a local manufacturing facility. This role requires a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork. The operator will assist with running the extruder machine efficiently, ensuring timely production of quality parts while maintaining communication with team leads.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Operate the extruder machine in accordance with safety procedures and work instructions.
  • Collaborate with coworkers in the extrusion area to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Communicate with the Lead Operator regarding production schedules, tooling needs, and any operational concerns.
  • Ensure freshly wound parts are promptly processed through the extruder.
  • Monitor quality and report any defects or issues with production parts.
  • Perform machine checks, calibrations, and basic maintenance as needed.
  • Respond to changing production schedules and follow directives from management.
  • Foster a team-oriented and improvement-focused environment.

Qualifications :

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to adapt to changes and learn new processes.
  • Previous machine operation experience is a plus but not required.

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, squat, and reach throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to operate a 30 lb impact gun and handle heavy machine components.
  • Comfortable working around moving machinery, temperature changes, dust, fumes, and noise.
