AGGREGATE PIT SUPERVISOR

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES and TASKS

This position reports directly to the plant manager of a sand and gravel operation

Work with Plant Manager to operate within the proposed budget

High level of knowledge in mobile equipment, mine planning and quality control of aggregates

Build, manage and mentor direct reports

Ability to identify efficiency improvements and implementation

Lead all company policies, safety, and environmental procedures

Promote a safe and clean working environment in the mine operating facility

Compliance with all MSHA Rules and Regulations and documentation

Compliance with all environmental Rules and Regulations and documentation

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor of Science in Engineering preferred

A minimum of 2 years as a supervisor in the Aggregate Business

A detailed understanding of mine planning

Demonstrated strong leadership

Demonstrated openness to change, flexibility, and adaptability

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Strong strategic thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills

Experience in the following are highly preferred : Excel, Word, Power Point

Valid driver’s license

Located in the northeast area of DFW
