job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPerform work in accordance with safety guidelines and job specifications. Restore, Removal, Repair, and replacement of various commercial roofing systems (including architectural sheet metal) under the direction of a foreman. Knowledge of EPDM, TPO, PVC, Modified, BUR, Sheet metal and other types of Commercial Roofing. Ability to receive instruction and produce work accordingly. Punctuality and consistent attendance. Ability to cut, bend and assemble sheet metal. Ability to use brakes and folding machines. Ability to use hand tools such as hammers, adhesives, benders, rivets, etc. Understand setup concepts. Ability to understand complex fabrication and welding of custom parts. Ability to trouble shoot and problem-solve. Two (2) plus years of commercial / industrial metal roofing experience (Required). Ability to travel extensively - More than three (3) weeks consecutively at a time (Required). Valid driver's license (Required). High School diploma or Equivalent (GED). 18 years of age or older Authorized to work in the United States Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at a time on a regular basis throughout the day. Must be able to frequently ascend / descend ladders up to 40 feet. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for an extended period of time. Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions. Must be able to work in varied extreme weather conditions (extreme hot and extreme cold). Load and unload material and equipment from variant heights. Load material and equipment from vehicles on and off the roof. Lift heavy objects by hand or with a hoist and clean work area. Shovel loose materials such as gravel, sand, metal, snow, or dirt.
