Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)

Location : Private Practice – North San Diego Coast

Schedule : 1–2 days per week, currently Tuesday and Wednesday. Flexible scheduling available. Office hours Monday–Thursday, 8 : 45 AM–5 : 00 PM. Hygiene appointments start at 9 : 00 AM.

Our private practice is seeking a skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team as our third hygienist. We are proud to provide each patient with a full hour appointment to allow time for meaningful connection and thorough care. With a steady client base and a schedule currently booking 6–7 months in advance, we value the trust of our patients and the dedication of our team.

We support our team with the tools and environment needed to provide exceptional care, and we welcome candidates who are interested in touring our office prior to an interview.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Document daily treatment, including perio probing and clinical notes
• Provide patient education on proper oral care and diet
• Carry out screening and monitoring procedures
• Take digital X-rays with Dexis and a Nomad; utilize Dentrix software for records
• Gently remove plaque and calculus by scaling and polishing teeth
• Apply antibacterial materials (Arestin), fissure sealants, and topical fluorides
• Incorporate laser treatment with deep cleanings and inflamed gums
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment in compliance with procedures, rules, regulations, and COVID-19 protocols
