I.T. SUPPORT SPECIALIST
Montgomery, AL
Job duties will include :
- Work in an Active Directory 2012 environment.
- Troubleshoot problems with networks, email services, file services, print services, IP Telephony devices, and cell phones.
- Maintain a broad knowledge of operating systems, programming languages, and hardware.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer workstations and laptops.
- Perform hardware and software upgrades as required.
- Travel to and support functions at our Headquarters in Montgomery, AL as required.
Qualifications :
3 - 5 years of experience with PCs, printers, laptops, and some server experience.Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.Ability to be on a rotating on-call schedule that includes weekends and holidays.Advanced knowledge of Windows 7 Professional and Windows 10 Professional operating systems.Familiarity with Exchange 2013.Familiarity with VMWare vCenter 6.0 or higher and ESXi 6.0 or higher.Working knowledge and troubleshooting of standard desktop applications.Minimum knowledge of network security, understanding of vulnerabilities, and countermeasures.Knowledge of Cat 5e or higher cabling and troubleshooting.Minimum knowledge of switch / router management, with aptitude to expand knowledge.Strong interpersonal / team skills and the ability to impart information to colleagues with a varied range of computer knowledge.Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive customer and internal information.Ability and desire to learn new skills quickly.Offer ideas, suggestions, and seek processes to be the best in our industry.Competitive starting salary+ benefits.
