About the Role
Manage an assigned book of commercial lines business, ensuring client retention and supporting new business. Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolve complex issues, and ensure accuracy and completeness with no errors or omissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
- Direct the daily activities of the account management team.
- Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
- Manage policy expirations and renewals.
- Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
- Monitor accounts receivable, address delinquent balances.
- Maintain agency management systems and carrier / vendor platforms with accurate data.
- Monitor activity and suspense to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain frequent, transparent communication with the account team.
- Deliver excellent service, anticipate needs, and respond quickly to service requests.
- Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
- Seek and adopt best practices to improve performance.
- Demonstrate integrity and leadership and champion IOA values.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
3+ years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industryStrong knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needsActive property & casualty license required; professional designation (CIC or equivalent) preferredStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsExceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skillsProficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)High School Diploma or equivalentWhat We Offer

The expected pay range for this position is $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year, depending on experience, relevant skills, and geographic location.
