Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking qualified Teachers for the Visually Impaired (TVI) to support K-12 students in a full-semester contract position in Farmington, NM. This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, providing specialized educational services tailored to students with visual impairments.

Responsibilities include :

• Delivering individualized instruction and support to students with visual impairments across K-12 grade levels
• Collaborating with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to implement effective learning strategies
• Assessing students needs and adapting materials and resources to facilitate access to the curriculum
• Tracking student progress and maintaining accurate documentation
• Promoting independence and skill development in mobility, Braille literacy, and assistive technology use
