Job Summary
We are seeking a Security Architect to join our enterprise Microsoft team as the sole dedicated security professional supporting the full Microsoft M365 stack and all associated applications, including Azure. While much of the environment is cloud-based, there is some on-prem presence.
Responsibilites :
- Joining the Microsoft team as the sole security expert, with alignment to the broader corporate security group but dedicated to Microsoft M365.
- Reviewing the environment and making recommendations around Microsoft-related security tools, protocols, and processes.
- Identifying and securing Microsoft vulnerabilities and guiding the team on the necessary tools and processes.
- Acting as an advocate to leadership for Microsoft security initiatives.
- Using and recommending enhancements to the Microsoft security stack.
- Managing and developing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) programs within the Microsoft environment.
- Applying Azure and associated tools experience to ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Supporting a Microsoft user base of 53,000.
- Operating as a team of one, responsible for building out a scalable security program and future team growth (looking for a "QB" to lead).
- Designing and developing information protocols around DLP programs, including remediation on the security stack for SharePoint.
- Interfacing directly with the CISO, broader security team, and across the entire Microsoft M365 toolset (Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, etc.).
- Ensuring organizational security across the M365 environment.
- Developing programs to elevate Microsoft security to the next level.
- Managing DLP and labeling controls across over 100 million documents.
- Growing into responsibility for managing the entire Microsoft security vertical.
