Position Information :
NWHSU is looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities Team. In this vital role, you'll help ensure our beautiful campus - inside and out - stays safe, functional, and welcoming for all.
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll perform a wide variety of building maintenance, repair, and operational tasks, including inspecting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. You'll also complete general building repairs, assist with event setups, maintain campus interiors and exteriors, and support snow removal and grounds maintenance.
The ideal candidate brings a working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems, along with a proactive approach to problem-solving and works well both independently and collaboratively as part of our Facilities Team.
This role offers interested candidates the opportunity to earn a boilers license and, in time take on responsibility for maintaining NWHSU's boiler systems.
This is a full-time, benefits eligible opportunity working Monday-Friday. Typical start times range between 5 : 30 a.m. and 7 : 00 a.m., with end times between 2 : 00 p.m. and 3 : 30 p.m. Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required based on business needs.

Compensation : $23.49 - $29.37 hourly (general maintenance role). Candidates possessing a boiler operator license (Special, 2nd Class, 1st Class, or Chief) may be eligible for an enhanced pay range.
The hiring rate is determined by a combination of education, related professional experience, and internal equity considerations and may exceed the posted range. NWHSU is committed to fair and equitable pay practices and does not base compensation decisions on gender or any other protected status.
