About the Role

You will be building a diverse and talented team that helps reverse climate change. Heirlooms technology brings together a unique blend of chemical engineering, materials science, software, and industrial automation to build an economical and scalable carbon removal solution, and you will recruit exceptional talent across a wide variety of disciplines. You may be recruiting everything from finance to legal to research scientists and engineers. The talent of our team will determine our success at solving this problem, so it is not hyperbole to say your work will make a real contribution to the fight against climate change.

Responsibilities

You are ready to take on full-cycle ownership for highly specialized, mission-critical roles. You will be data-driven and strategic in prioritizing the right sources for passionate, top-tier candidates, and you know how to run a clean, fast process with outstanding follow up once you find them. Hiring managers are never in the dark when youre on the job and candidates have a stellar, high-touch experience with you no matter the outcome for them. You understand that recruiting is storytelling and your ability to passionately share Heirlooms vision and culture with candidates will help you close throughout the process - not just at offer time.

You won't just recruit; you will define, build, and scale our most valuable assetour people, and your success is reflected by your ability to understand the team needs and deliver the perfect puzzle piece to complement and accelerate that team. This is a crucial, high-impact role for a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and is ready to be a true strategic partner to the leadership team.

What you will bring

We're looking for a builder who is highly organized, deeply technical, and thrives on speed and direct impact.

Experience : We are looking for 6-10+ years of recruiting experience, with at least 2 years focused on hardware, manufacturing or deep tech roles. Start up experience is a major plus.

Technical Acumen : You must be able to understand technical specifications, assess engineering skill sets, and intelligently articulate our technology to candidates without needing a technical hiring manager to translate.

Mindset : Exceptional organizational skills, resilience in a tight talent market, and a relentless drive to close difficult searches. You must be comfortable with the entire talent funnel, from initial sourcing to post-hire follow-up.

Tool Stack Proficiency : Expert-level proficiency with modern Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and various sourcing tools.
