The Quality Control Engineer Manager will ensure that C.D. Smith Construction takes a proactive approach to establish, promote, and maintain an effective control system for compliance with the requirements established for all projects.

The essential functions of this role include :

• Provide Updates and Manage the Master C.D. Smith Quality Control Plan and Exterior Quality Control Plans.
• Facilitate planning and development of Site-Specific Quality Control Plans and Exterior Quality Control Plans for all new projects.
• Collaborate with representatives from various functional groups assigned to the projects, including Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, Foreman, Architects, Engineers, Owners, Third Party Inspection Agencies, Exterior Enclosure Consultants, Materials Testing Firms, and Subcontractors.
• Research new technology and innovation for quality control best practices and documentation.
• Work with the Project Teams to implement quality control measures, including reviewing project plans and specifications, ensuring contract compliance, coordinating with Materials Testing Agencies, and leading project requirement meetings.
