Quality Inspection Team Lead - First Shift

What You'll Do

As our Quality Inspection Team Lead, you'll be ensuring quality standards while leading a collaborative team environment. Your key responsibilities include :

Quality Leadership & Inspection

  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections according to quality standards
  • Create and maintain inspection documentation and check sheets
  • Ensure non-conforming products never reach customers through proper disposition processes

Team Coordination & Material Flow

  • Coordinate material handling, packaging, shipping, and receiving operations
  • Facilitate smooth movement of work-in-process and finished goods inventory
  • Support routing operations across inspection, packaging, machining, and storage areas
  • Manage outside service coordination for plating and heat treating suppliers

    • Process Improvement & Safety

  • Foster a team environment focused on safety, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Lead and participate in problem-solving and process development initiatives
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow all safety procedures
  • Support team-building activities and regular team meetings

    • Systems & Equipment Operation

  • Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently
  • Process accurate inventory transactions using computer systems and RF scanners
  • Optimize storage and retrieval systems for maximum efficiency
  • Support cross-training and flexible coverage as needed

    • What We're Looking For

    Essential Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Commitment to safety and environmental procedures

    • Preferred Experience :

  • 1-2 years in industrial or service industry (comprehensive training provided)
  • Experience with quality inspection processes
  • Team leadership or supervisory experience
