Passenger Services Supervisor

Job Summary

The Supervisor, Passenger Services oversees airport passenger service functions, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with company policies. This role includes supervising employees, monitoring performance, and maintaining high customer service standards. Responsibilities may also extend to operations such as weight and balance, cargo, cabin services, and ground equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate passenger service operations.
  • Monitor employee performance and ensure compliance with safety and company policies.
  • Train and support staff to uphold service and operational standards.
  • Ensure proper identification and security measures are followed.
  • Maintain fair and respectful treatment of employees, customers, and vendors.

Minimum Requirements

  • Ability to read, write and fluently speak and understand the English language.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

    • Preferred Skills

  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; six months to one-year related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    • Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

  • Work in a high noise level environment.
  • Work with minimal supervision.
  • Cognitive skills to set priorities and use independent judgment.
  • Ability to handle stress.
  • Reports to work on a regular and timely basis.
  • Ability to lift 70 pounds. No exceptions.
