Essex Restaurant is a 150-seat restaurant and bar on the Lower East Side featuring contemporary steakhouse cuisine, Mediterranean inspired shares and an eclectic and vibrant brunch.
The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, from menu development and execution to staff training, food quality, and consistency. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, leadership, and a proven track record in managing high-volume, high-quality kitchens, with particular strength in meat preparation and Mediterranean-inspired flavors. Experience managing a busy brunch service is a plus.
