Overview
Become a Data Strategy, Advisor at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. The Data Strategy Advisor provides analytical support to ensure quality, security, and maintenance of data attributes, enabling accurate situational awareness and reporting of PSPS data elements throughout PSPS activations. This role leads data quality projects, supports governance, and drives operational decisions while collaborating with stakeholders across functions.
Base pay range : $126,000.00 / yr - $189,000.00 / yr. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Responsibilities
- Improves the delivery of analytical support to an Operating Unit and / or the enterprise, enhancing collection, analysis and reporting of data to enable key business operations projects.
- Provides advice to stakeholders, presenting analytical findings and making recommendations on their impact on business operations.
- Identifies and improves operational processes and procedures, from maintenance to development of reporting dashboards, to streamline business practice and improve efficiency.
- Collects and analyzes data to present findings and inform decisions.
- Develops models to inform decision-making on emerging technology investments.
- Improves development of business plan scenarios to evaluate different priorities and options for achieving objectives.
- Verifies that established processes comply with relevant rules, principles, laws, and industry standards to safeguard assets and minimize risk.
- Supports protection of all assets and proper handling of private customer data and other sensitive information with high standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
Seven or more years of experience performing business operations analysis.Preferred Qualifications
Two or more years of experience facilitating cross-functional teams with a focus on data analysis and management.Two years of experience in process mapping and / or root cause analysis.Knowledge of enterprise data systems and relational database concepts.Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, Construction Management, or another technical field.Two or more years of experience with analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making, and the ability to analyze complex data problems and create innovative solutions.Ability to present complex topics to non-technical staff.Strong verbal and written communication / presentation skills.Two or more years of experience in influencing, collaborating and demonstrating strong facilitative leadership skills.Additional Information
This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in California.
