Maintenance Technician - Direct Hire
Location : Ripon, WI
Shift : 2nd Shift (7pm-7am; Mon-Thurs)
About the Role :
We are looking for a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join a fast-paced food manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for keeping production equipment and facility systems running smoothly while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with food industry standards. What You’ll Do :
Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery, packaging equipment, conveyors, HVAC systems, and facility infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to reduce downtime and maintain production schedules.
Conduct inspections and keep detailed records of work performed and parts used.
Collaborate with production, sanitation, and quality assurance teams to ensure equipment meets food safety standards.
Assist with installing, testing, and commissioning new equipment.
Follow GMPs, safety policies, and standard operating procedures.
Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support audits and inspections by internal and external teams.
What We’re Looking For :
High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or associate degree preferred.
2+ years of maintenance experience in food manufacturing or a related industrial setting.
Strong mechanical skills with knowledge of industrial machinery, electrical systems, PLCs, and pneumatics.
Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
Problem-solving mindset and strong attention to detail.
Basic computer skills for logging and tracking maintenance activities.
Flexibility to work weekends and overtime when needed.
Physical Requirements :
Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
Comfortable working in varied production environments, including refrigerated or wet areas.
