Overview
We are looking for Equipment Engineers to join our Production Engineering organization in Auburn, WA and Fredrickson, WA. This Electrical / Controls focused position will support new endeavours in the Fabrication Division.

They will have a strong desire to be on the production floor, interacting with mechanics, safety, and equipment services, and directly supporting the production system. Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities :
- This is an equipment development, implementation, and improvement role. This role involves reviewing electrical schematics, control panel designs, and troubleshooting technical issues. Additionally, the role requires project management, testing, and commissioning of automated system acquisition and modification projects.
- Evaluate program and project requirements, develop complex equipment concepts and design solutions for the Production System.
- Compile and analyze technical data to determine the effects on product engineering design, usability, and rate estimates.
- Ensure compliance with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and release bid and purchase specifications for equipment needs from suppliers.
- Troubleshoot current production issues related to quality, safety, and repeatability.
- Develop and implement work-arounds and maintain configuration of hardware and documentation.
- Perform studies and make recommendations for disposition of assets.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degreeQualifications (Desired Skills / Experience)
Electrical Engineering Degree2 or more years of project management experience supporting complex technical projects, evaluating / selecting equipment solutions, and assessing electrical system requirements1 or more years of experience with programming such as Java and SQL1 or more years of experience working to industry standards related to electrical system designExperience in Automation and roboticsAbility to learn in a fast paced environmentStrong communication skills and an ability to collaborate across diverse teamsDuration : 12 Months; Job Type : W2 Contract possible ext
