Overview

Johnson Service Group is seeking an experienced Equipment & Tool Engineer join our Production Engineering organization in Auburn, WA for a 12 month contract position

Electrical / Controls focused position will support exciting new endeavors in the Fabrication Division.

Equipment & Tool Engineer II

Pay Rate : $52.04 / hr

Contract Length : 1 Year (Possible extension)

Contract Location : Auburn, WA (98001)

OVERTIME EXPECTED : 10-20%

Work Schedule : First Shift 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM (Onsite)

Desired Start Date : 10 / 17 / 25

Primary Responsibilities

This is an equipment development, implementation, and improvement role. This role involves reviewing electrical schematics, control panel designs, and troubleshooting technical issues. Additionally, the role requires project management, testing, and commissioning of automated system acquisition and modification projects.

• Evaluate program and project requirements, develop complex equipment concepts and design solutions for the Production System.
• Compile and analyze technical data to determine the effects on product engineering design, usability, and rate estimates.
• Ensure compliance with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and release bid and purchase specifications for equipment needs from suppliers.
• Troubleshoot current production issues related to quality, safety, and repeatability.
• Develop and implement work-arounds and maintain configuration of hardware and documentation.
• Perform studies and make recommendations for disposition of assets.
