At CESO, a Mechanical Project Engineer I is responsible for performing a wide variety of engineering design technical assignments for small to large projects, completing all tasks on a project on time, on budget, and consistently within industry standards with little to no oversight. You will have primary responsibilities that include :

Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing design approaches, concepts, and standards under the supervision of the Engineer of Record from concept through completion
• Perform calculations and design engineering systems in collaboration with internal staff
• Prepare intermediate to advanced system layouts, detailed drawings, schematics, and schedules
• Review shop drawings and equipment submittals for conformance to plan documents and project specifications
• Prepare and modify studies, plans, reports, specifications, and designs for projects as directed
• Apply local, state, and federal regulations
• Adapt engineering information, codes, and standards into the project designs
• Visit project sites to verify existing conditions and / or observe construction progress
• Communicate design requirements with architects, contractors, and equipment manufacturer representatives to determine project scope and feasibility
• Support engineers and project managers in daily planning, coordination, and completion of projects
• Review work for technical accuracy and completeness prior to QA / QC review
• Maintains a proficient understanding of industry standards and regulations
• Attend internal and external meetings
• Other project duties as assigned
