Position Summary
The Inventory Associate supports the inventory and distribution of parts within assigned departments. This role ensures materials are accurately tracked, stored, and moved to keep production running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Receive incoming parts and store them in assigned locations.
Conduct regular cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and move them throughout the facility.
Notify the Inventory Manager of discrepancies or issues.
Help improve floor space organization and workflow efficiency.
Accurately document all work order travelers and inventory transactions.
Support ongoing improvement initiatives.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
Complete all assigned tasks within specified timelines and quality standards.
Follow company safety procedures and work cooperatively with team members.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1 year of inventory or warehouse experience preferred.
6 months of manufacturing experience preferred.
Skills & Abilities
Ability to safely operate a forklift and pallet jack.
Strong counting, measuring, and attention-to-detail skills.
Ability to push or move carts / pallets weighing several hundred pounds.
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
Capable of standing, walking, bending, or kneeling for long periods.
Able to lift up to 40 pounds safely.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
