We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contracts Specialist in Alexandria, VA to support the management, drafting, and execution of Contractor Agreements and maintaining corporate registrations. This role ensures compliance with internal policies and applicable laws, mitigates risk, and contributes to the successful execution of business objectives.
- Proximity to the Alexandria office is preferred but not a requirement; may be open to remote candidates.
Key Responsibilities :
Draft, review, and track Contractor Agreements, Task Orders, and NDAs.Collaborate with Accounting, Human Resources, and Project Management Office to gather requirements and ensure contracts align with business goals and regulatory compliance.Submit and maintain Customer Registrations.Submit and maintain enterprise state business registrations.Review, request, and maintain Company ACORDS.Request and maintain Contractor ACORDS.Maintain contract records and ensure proper documentation in contract management systems.Monitor contract performance, obligations, and key dates to ensure compliance and timely renewals or terminations.Identify contract risks and escalate legal or business concerns when necessary.Support acquisitions and entity reassignments.Support audits and contracts processes.Qualifications : Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Accounting, or a related field.3+ years of experience in contract administration, legal support, or procurement.Strong understanding of contract terms and processes.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel) and contract management systems (., DocuSign, SAP Ariba, .Problem solving in both independent and collaborative situations.Proactive and able to work independently with minimal direction.Preferred
Experience with state business licenses registrations.Knowledge of business insurance ACORDS.Working Conditions :
