Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a F irst Lin e Decorative Paint Operations Manufacturing Manager (Level K) to join our Paint Operations team in North Charleston, South Carolina on variable shift.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for directing and managing work group activities such as cleaning, surface preparation, application of primers, coating systems, appliqués, finishes, and decorative coatings on air vehicles
• Work with other managers to deploy employees per program requirements
• Responsible for work group performance against program commitments
• Interfaces with engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to meet product requirements and ensure customer acceptance
• Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operation goals
• Acquires resources for projects, processes and leads process improvements
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes
• Manages, develops, coaches and motivates employees
• Possesses and influences a safety and quality mindset

Shift

This position is variable shift. Variable shift means you will be placed on a shift at the time of hire based on business needs. You will remain on that shift until re-evaluation.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range : $102,600 - $125,400
