SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...

Pure Storage is seeking an energetic Technical Program Manager, Firmware Release experienced in leading engineering projects and releases from conception through release. You will utilize your skills to manage targeted hardware project schedules including software deliverables, identifying risks and working directly with stakeholders to alleviate them. You'll be developing and exercising independent judgment and recommendations that translate into a course of action. You will also be challenged with responsibilities including :

• Lead, coordinate, and drive firmware feature milestones for Pure's Direct Flash Module (DFM) products by developing objectives, schedules, processes, and communication plans.
• Collaborate with system software, manufacturing, validation, and external partners across geographies to keep all stakeholders aligned on status, priorities, and risks.
• Plan and coordinate DFM firmware releases, ensuring smooth integration with system software and alignment with hardware and validation requirements.
• Support and improve the team's agile practicesincluding sprint planning, backlog management, and cross-team syncsto enhance predictability, velocity, and alignment.
• Understand and communicate technical requirements, dependencies, and expectations; identify gaps, mitigate risks, and drive timely checkpoint decisions.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and tools to provide real-time visibility into program health, progress, and risks, with clear communication to executives and cross-functional teams.
• Continuously improve the efficiency, discipline, and quality of firmware development and release management processes and tools.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Pure's policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

The annual base salary range is :

$165,000 - $248,000 USD
