Responsibilities

Morgan Advanced Materials, Performance Carbon business in St Marys, PA is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic on 2nd shift (2 : 00pm - 10 : 00pm)

The ideal candidate will possess working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical repair.

Major Responsibilities and Essential Functions :

• Properly troubleshoot, adjust and repair all production and material-handling equipment
• Perform all tasks and duties necessary for efficient start-ups, daily operation, change-over and shut-downs
• Perform preventative maintenance on and / or repair production machines, heating, cooling and steam systems, material-handling equipment, as well as plumbing, and hydraulic / pneumatics equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair various mechanical systems
• Properly record preventative maintenance tasks
• Complete work orders as required
• Timely respond to maintenance calls on the production floor
• Assist in providing installation of new machinery
• Inventory spare parts and report usage; suggest re-order to maintenance lead
• Maintain neat and orderly work area, properly maintain tools
