Role Overview
Curology is seeking a Director of Data Analytics to lead our analytics strategy and drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. This position will play a critical role in refining our data infrastructure, enhancing our analytical capabilities, and delivering actionable insights that fuel business growth.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of analytical expertise, leadership experience, and business acumen. You will be responsible for overseeing the analytics team, developing best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional leaders to ensure that data insights directly inform product, marketing, and operational strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of analysts, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making across Curology.
- Manage and enhance the company's analytics infrastructure, focusing on scalability, accuracy, and accessibility of data for stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and operations teams to identify business questions, define key metrics, and deliver strong analytical frameworks.
- Develop and implement best practices for data governance, reporting, visualization, and modeling to ensure reliability and clarity of insights.
- Drive advanced analytics initiatives including customer segmentation, predictive modeling, and performance forecasting.
- Oversee the development of dashboards and reporting tools that provide real-time insights into business performance, enabling informed strategic decisions.
- Communicate findings and recommendations with senior leadership and stakeholders through clear and impactful storytelling.
- Champion data literacy throughout the organization, ensuring that teams can effectively leverage data in their daily operations.
Requirements
8+ years of experience in data analytics, with a focus on leading analytics teams in a growing tech or DTC environment.Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker).In-depth understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, and advanced analytical techniques.Proven experience developing data-driven strategies to inform business decisions in marketing, product, or operations.Experience with data governance best practices and data quality management.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of presenting complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.Entrepreneurial mindset, with a strong drive for results and a passion for data.Experience in the beauty or healthcare sectors is a plus.Benefits
