About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Director of Data Engineering to sit within our Analytics team and serve as the organization’s healthcare data subject matter expert (SME). This leader will partner closely with Data Engineering, Customer Delivery, and Platform teams to ensure that data assets are accurate, reliable, and aligned to healthcare industry best practices.

More than a traditional engineering role, this position calls for someone with deep hands-on experience across payer claims, pharmacy (Rx), clinical / EHR data, and hospital revenue cycle data—able to prescribe best practices, validate progress, instill discipline, and guarantee data quality at every stage.

A Day in the Life

Strategic Leadership

• Define and evolve the data engineering standards and practices within the Analytics team.
• Act as the healthcare data SME, ensuring adherence to payer, provider, and hospital revenue cycle standards as well as regulatory frameworks (CMS, HIPAA, HEDIS, RAF / HCC, etc.).
• Serve as the bridge between Analytics and Data Engineering, Customer Delivery, and Platform teams, aligning on goals and execution.
