The Data Models Decisioning and Credit organization is accelerating Capital One's journey to revolutionize how data is used to drive market-leading products and services. DMDC consists of top tier talent across business analysis, data, product management, project, risk, process and operations. We have an exciting multi-year journey ahead of us and are looking for a highly skilled Chief of Staff to join our team.

In this high visibility role, you will report into the DMDC Chief of Staff team supporting an Executive Vice President and his leadership team. You will lead top of house associate experience strategy and execution, working on a diverse set of projects that will architect and foster a cohesive organizational culture and improve team efficiency.

The ideal candidate can solve problems and quickly operationalize solutions, while building for sustainability and scalability. This Chief of Staff will have strong organizational skills, and is proactive in managing their work. Through this role the candidate will need to be able to structure their thinking to effectively influence others and demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.

General Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of team-wide events, offsites, and meetings that drive connection, alignment, and fun across the organization
• Design and manage engagement initiatives that reflect our values and promote associate well-being, inclusion, and connection
• Promote and lead team-wide recognition programs that celebrate accomplishments, milestones, and cultural contributions
• Monitor associate survey results, identify trends and insights, and partner with leaders to drive actions that continuously improve engagement and culture
• Develop and maintain a calendar of team development opportunities, including trainings, workshops, conferences and learning sessions
• Track and report on engagement and development efforts to understand impact and identify areas for continuous improvement
• Collaborate with internal partners (e.g., HR, Finance, Tower COS and leaders) to align on and manage head count, rotational programs and Students and Grads allocations
• Serve as a culture ambassadorchampioning values, team norms, celebrating wins, and helping leaders connect with their teams in meaningful ways

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA : $117,300 - $133,900 for Principal Project Manager

Richmond, VA : $106,700 - $121,700 for Principal Project Manager

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and / or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
