Field Engineer

Due to continued growth, Atlas Excavating, Inc. is seeking full-time Field Engineers to work throughout the Central Indiana Area. This position works on jobsites monitoring and coordinating daily activities with Foreman and Project Management, ensuring all phases of construction comply with all building standards, specification, design, and company processes. Assists in evaluating field problems, development of project schedules, contributes to site oversight and quantity tracking for billing purposes. The position will learn aspects of being a foreman and project manager and may springboard to these or other positions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate daily activities on jobsites with the Foreman and Project Management.
• Ensure all phases of construction comply with building standards, specifications, design, and company processes.
• Assist in evaluating field problems and developing project schedules.
• Contribute to site oversight and quantity tracking for billing purposes.
• Learn aspects of being a foreman and project manager and may advance to these roles or other positions.
